OLAS Exposure Series Extender

The OLAS Extender is a compact, portable, wireless repeater for the OLAS N2K NMEA 2000 MOB Alarm and Wireless Kill Switch, the OLAS Guardian MOB Alarm and Wireless Kill Switch, and the OLAS Core MOB alarm system. While the OLAS Tag, T2, and OLAS Float-On used alone with the mobile app allow for coverage on vessels up to 40ft, the N2K, Guardian, and Core allow for coverage on vessels up to 50ft, the Extender can be used with the Core, Guardian, or N2K to increase coverage for vessels up to 100ft in length.

Extender Advantages

Quick, easy setup with no hard wiring required

  • Switch an N2K, Guardian, or Core into pairing mode, and the Extender automatically connects and remains paired.
  • Use the LED indicator on the switch to position the Extender in the optimum position on the vessel. Using the rechargeable battery, the Extender can be walked around the vessel, and as the LED on the switch turns to solid red, the connection has been broken. Return to a position where the Extender is reconnected and secure it in this location.

Portable and low power (5V USB)

  • The Extender can operate with its internal rechargeable battery for up to 80 hours or as a permanent solution, it can be attached to a 5V power supply with its USB lead.

Automatic transmitter connection

  • Switch an N2K, Guardian, or Core into pairing mode, and the Extender automatically connects and remains paired.

Extends OLAS System

  • Adds up to 50ft extra range to the N2K, Guardian, and Core base systems. Note: One Extender extends range by 25ft and a total of 2 Extenders can be utilized to extend the range of the system by a total of 50 ft.
